About me

Hello, my name is Ella. My journey in the professional realm began with a foundation in Marketing, which ignited my passion for understanding the intricate dynamics of business and technology.

Educational Milestones: Completed high school by age 15, undergrad in Marketing and acquired a master's in AETM by age 25 while concurrently pursued a post-baccalaureate in Data Analytics alongside my masters.

After some years of work experience and voluntering to help mentor women in Tech it propelled me to delve deeper into the nexus of engineering, technology, and management, culminating in a master's degree in Applied Engineering and Technology Management (AETM).

My academic pursuits didn't end there. Recognizing the transformative power of data, I further honed my expertise with post-baccalaureate studies in Data Analytics. Alongside academic achievements, I've acquired a suite of certifications, including Scrum Master, Agile methodologies, and the esteemed PMP. My commitment to continuous learning led me to Harvard Business School, where I specialized in Leadership and Management with a focus on Organizational Innovation Management.

Professionally, my journey has been diverse, spanning roles from an Analyst to a Technical Program Manager. Each role has enriched my perspective, equipping me with a comprehensive understanding of data-driven strategies, supply chain intricacies, and the orchestration of technical programs relating to data centers, and security.

As a career coach, my mission is to empower individuals to navigate their professional landscapes with confidence and clarity. Software Development Product Development Leadership +6 more
Greetings! I'm a seasoned Senior Staff Engineer at Meta with a wealth of experience in not only building popular products but also cultivating leadership skills and providing mentorship. I have worked on building large distributed systems, very engaging user facing products, infrastructure to support monetization efforts. I wear different hats: as engineer, product manager, project manager, user researcher, people leader, building strategy and business opportunities.

I have had great mentors in my life. Without them, I would not be here. I would like to give back some of my knowledge and help build a quality ecosystem of tech workers.

I have mentored more than 50 people at Meta and they have gotten better in their technical, people and direction axis and most of them have been promoted and also becoming mentor themselves. It is always great to mentor folks and help them see things they did not see on their own.

I have more than a decade of experience in Software Engineering (and related practices) and I have been lucky enough to have worked with a bunch of great minds in the big tech giants. I have managed to crack Interviews for several MAANG companies (and even other big tech companies) and I have even worked for a few MAANG companies including Apple and Amazon. I have a good idea of what the big tech giants expect from you in Interviews and how you can crack those tricky tech interviews. I am crazy about Distributed systems and their paradigms and I have spent a lot of my career implementing several projects related to distributed systems. I have been an active mentor for several years. I am also an active educator on several platforms on topics such as System Design, DSA, Distributed tech, Backend tech, and Cloud technologies. I've interacted with 100s of learners (and counting) and helped them excel in their careers and in their job hunt journey. As an educator, I've launched a crash course on AWS and I also help out folks on topics like DSA and System Design for tech Interview prep on several platforms. With a proven track record of helping several learners crack their dream jobs, I can guarantee you the learnings and feedback from the session in order to grow in your career or crack that important interview. I look forward to talking to you.
